Hyde Leisure Pool is one of Tameside and Greater Manchester's leading tourist attractions!

Safety Information

  • All children under the age of  8 must be supervised in the water by a responsible person aged 16yrs or over.  This person may be responsible for up to two children under the age of 8.
  • Children under 5 must be supervised in the water on a one to one basis regardless of their swimming ability.
  • The responsible adult must accompany the child or children in the water and maintain direct control and constant watch over the children in their charge. 
  • The child admission policy is relaxed for the “Wally Walrus Session” which is a controlled session operating without pool features and the term time “casual swim”, again where features are not operating, here an adult may be responsible for up to 2 children under 5.
  • Red Ripster Aqua slide Height restriction: Riders of the Red Ripster must be a minimum of 1.1m in height.
