Tameside Active Leisure Key Scheme

The Tameside Leisure Key Scheme has changed recently; you will be pleased to know that the scheme continues to offer fantastic discounts for adult residents of Tameside, on a whole range of sport and recreational activities.

The benefits packages remain as per the Leisure Key scheme until the review is complete however the Leisure Key Card has been replaced the with a new 'Active Body and Mind' swipe card which compliments the new computerised till system in place at Tameside's sport and leisure facilities.

Existing holders of Leisure Key Passes will be asked to transfer to the new swipe card system when they visit one of our centres.  Any new applicants will be issued automatically with a new card.

There are two Active Leisure Key schemes available to residents of Tameside.

 

Leisure Key Active Benefits - for just £3 you will receive a Active benefits, valid for 12 months. On application you will recieve an 'Active body and mind' pass and the swipe card system will recognise that you qualify to participate in many popular sporting and leisure activities at greatly reduced prices, as often as you like.

Active Plus Benefits - gives residents claiming benefit even greater opportunity to save. If you are in receipt of any of the benefits listed below and provide proof of such an application you will get your recieve an 'Active body and mind' pass and the swipe card system will recognise that you are an 'Active Plus' resident and qualify to participate in many popular sporting and leisure activities at greatly reduced prices, as often as you like. Active Plus benefits valid for 12 months from aplication and the card is provided free of charge, proof that you are in receipt of benefits must be provided when Active Plus status is renewed.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to provide proof of identification and your Tameside residency, plus any evidence to prove that you are in receipt of benefits for Active Plus applicants.

 

Activities available under the scheme

Swimming, Fitness Suites (Active Plus only), Squash, Sauna, Badminton, Junior Sports Courses (parent with Active Plus Card), Junior Swimming Lessons Courses (parent with Active Plus Card).

Ashton Pools, The Copley Centre, Denton Pools, Dukinfield Pool, Hyde Leisure Pool, The Longdendale Centre, Medlock Leisure Centre, Oxford Park Community Sports Centre.
