Hurray! Summer is here! no more school, no more homework and no more teachers!

With a long hot summer stretched out before you what better way to cool off, make firends and have lots of fun than at your local pool.

So you''l be glad to hear that our 'swim all summer' scheme is back and we've frozen the price to a cool £16.50 for 8 weeks swimming, that's less than 30p per day!

The scheme is open to swimmers aged 5 to 18 years old and includes:

• Unlimited swimming from 13th July to 6th Setember 2009 at general swimming sessions, fun/inflatable sessions and other sessions except; swimming lessons, activity courses and aqua fit sessions
• Access to 5 Pools accross Tameside:

Active swim operate a child admission policy which applies to all swimmers; children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 16 years) in the ratio 2:1.

Applying for the swim scheme:

• Download an application form HERE or collect one at your local pool
• complete the 'Your details' section
• Hand in to reception at your local pool along with your payment of £16.50. If paying by cheque; make cheques payable to 'Tameside Sports Trsut'.
• If you already have an 'Active' card please give this to reception at time of payment, otherwise you will be issued with an 'Active' card pre-loaded with the swim all summer period, then just bring your 'Active' card with you when you come for a swim and the computer system will recognise that you are on the swim all summer scheme.
